Support the effective management of Hewitt by aiding support services in the implementation of business improvement initiatives, producing high-quality work outputs, and fostering a workplace culture that emphasises collaboration and teamwork.
ROLE SPECIFICS & RESPONSIBILITIES
What can you expect day-to-day?
- Livestock Administration: Assist with the recording and data entry of livestock movements across the Hewitt assets.
- Fleet Administration: Ensure our fleet of vehicles & machinery are compliant with state and company regulations including registrations, COI’s and insurance claims.
- Travel Bookings: Ensure our Agribusiness team get where they need to be by assisting with flight, accommodation, hire car and internal travel bookings.
- Daily Operations: Assist with all ad-hoc administrative tasks as they arise. There is never a dull moment.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Experience: Proven experience in an administration role with rural or livestock experience seen as highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft office suite. Herd management software experience is advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: Brings a supportive, reliable and thoughtful approach, showing good judgment and care in handling responsibilities and working with others.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for the agricultural industry and a readiness to embrace a variety of daily activities.
This role is based on our flagship aggregation, and the successful candidate is expected to live on site. Accommodation and meals are supplied as part of the role.
