Spanning 1.8 million acres across Ambalindum and Numery Stations, this region is rich in rangelands, rainfall, and rugged beauty – right in the heart of the East MacDonnell Ranges.

This is a hands-on leadership role in one of Australia’s leading vertically integrated organic beef supply chains, offering both challenge and career progression.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll report directly to Station Management and play a key role in:

✅ Motivating and guiding a large, diverse team
✅ Overseeing day-to-day operations across the aggregation
✅ Supporting work planning, livestock moves, pasture and CAPEX projects
✅ Championing WHS standards and procedures
✅ Building your leadership capability in a large-scale beef operation
✅ Immersing yourself in a fast-paced, rewarding agricultural environment

Key Responsibilities

✅ Train, mentor and lead station staff
✅ Ensure herd welfare through skilled animal husbandry
✅ Oversee fencing, water systems, and infrastructure maintenance
✅ Operate and maintain machinery and vehicles
✅ Keep accurate records and lead team meetings
✅ Help drive continuous improvement across station operations
