The role will be based at our Ambalindum Aggregation. This aggregation spans across 1.3 million acres and includes Ambalindum Station, Numery Station and Quartz Hill, Ambalindum Outstation. The Aggregation is nestled within the east MacDonnell Ranges, known for reliable rainfall, high-quality rangelands and spectacular scenery.
The role presents the opportunity to live on-site and immerse yourself in the business. Reporting directly to Station Management, you will be a strong communicator, a driven and committed team player who is focused on progressing their career.
What can you expect day-to-day?
- General farm duties & maintenance.
- Operation of modern farming machinery.
- Stock work.
- Fencing & stock water maintenance.
Qualifications:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Passion, enthusiasm & a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to communicate & work well in a small team and also independently.
- Excellent problem solving & time management skills.
- Experience with farm machinery including tractors & implements.
- Experience handling livestock.
